Fluttering by

Well, it seemed to be summer today - since we are in Scotland and it might be all we get, everyone was making the most of it. The park was teeming this afternoon.

We had our lunch in the garden again - that’s two weekends in a row now! The bees were bumbling and a Peacock butterfly was fluttering around. It was rather camera-shy though and getting a shot proved rather difficult. It didn’t help that it always settled on the most boring backgrounds. However I eventually managed a picture when it landed on the brick on top of the compost bin.

Clocks forward tonight, so we’ll have to try to get to bed early to compensate for losing an hour of snooze time. It’ll be so nice to have the longer light evenings back though.
