One daze at a time...

What a weird sensation to leave the confines of good aul Ireland for the first time since July 2019. And even though it is for a flash visit, and for work, it feels good to be abroad. To be elsewhere. To be away from the home turf. On this instance to the Netherlands, to Leeuwarden. I have loved everything about it so far. The tulip fields from above just before landing, the 2 hour train ride, the lovely hotel in a converted post office, the great food, the babysitting of two perfusionists on an IV of continental beer (the average in Ireland is 4.3% alcohol, not in the Netherlands!) Ok, maybe not the last part. They were surprisingly able to function the following morning. Or at least create the illusion. They might be illusionists as well as perfusionists...
