Bainton Primrose Festival

A beautiful spring day spent mostly in and around Bainton Churchyard, where I was leading two walks to show people the wild flowers and to encourage appreciation of the diverse habitats present in villages including stone walls, pavement edges, road verges and, of course, churchyards.

Both walks were well attended by very engaged participants who asked some very interesting questions. I had a ball, and received some really lovely feedback, though when I finally left at just after four o'clock, I realised I was pretty exhausted. Luckily Pete cooked dinner and I was able to just chill in front of some fairly mindless TV!
