Many many years ago in a world faraway...

Ok , here's the truth. Many years ago I lived in Stroud and worked in Gloucester and was interested in the renovation of the Thames and Severn Canal then derelict since the 30/40s? We discussed the creation of a Trust to bring it "back to life". Then I left!!

Today I walked along the Canal from Stroud to Stonehouse and marvelled at the work to date to bring this gem of industrial history "back to life" through the work of the Cotswold Canal Trust. 

I'm impressed. It will shortly become part of the national canal network.
