What a difference a month makes!

This is our little garden at our house in Menorca.

Usually we arrive first flight from Bristol end of April by which time the Lemon tree is twice as big, the ground is covered totally in wild flowers and the Casita is covered
in Bougainvillaea .

But as we arrived yesterday, a month earlier than usual, the tree is hardly any bigger than when we pruned it last October, the pristine pebble ground is only just giving way to the spring rush of flowers and the Bougainvillaea is just sticks with just a hint of leaf!

Well, I made that complicated didn’t I?

And it’s raining! And it’s cold! Moan, moan , moan….

But, we have everything to hope for!
