Downy woodpecker

Sat out on the back deck for a little while and enjoyed all the birds this morning.  Lots of red winged blackbirds right now, but didn't get a shot of one I liked.  The little downy woodpeckers are a favorite of mine.

I found out that the Bald Eagle and the Goose weight about the same amount, 9.9 pounds.  I'm thinking maybe the eagle was scavenging.  Thank you for all the comments stars and hearts on yesterdays eagle.
