Blossom Time at Aberford

This lovely tree really stands out against the swathes of daffodils down the hedgerow.  I took it yesterday when out with the dogs
This mornings walk was in woods and it was drizzling with rain, who would have thought that less than an hour later we would be bathed in sunshine and it was a beautiful day.

We went to the farm shop for some big bags of compost not bad 70ltr bags 3 for £13.50 then to the local nursery for growbags, these were big ones 2 for £6 so we are quite pleased with our purchases.

Had a bit of sad news today, my son has had to have his dog Izzy put to sleep, she's had a good innings as she was 15 gone deaf and not seeing too well, but it was the cancer that took her in the end. We were very sad because she has been part of our family too, we used to look after her when they went on holiday where they couldn't take her. He says his other dog is laid on her bed and won't move. One of the cats his laid on top of him as if to comfort him. He too has to greave for her, shes been part of his life for the last 9 years.
