The Bergenia is trying its best to remind me that it's Spring. The clocks have changed, so it must be. Unfortunately the weather's also changed - no longer sunny but cold, grey, damp, miserable. On the plus side, we've finished shaping the polythene sheet around the ends & doorways of the polytunnel, making little pleats with temporary tabs of insulation tape & small clamps, burying the edges of the sheet in the soil & rolling the sections around the doorways onto battens & nailing them to the wooden frames. Still much tidying up to do, but the worst section is over & I can go running tomorrow..
