Antique brick

Living in the refurb house means making a refurb garden out of a builder's wilderness. This involves a lot of diggy uppy, and quite a bit of findy brickie.

Wouldn't you know it? There's a website where you can look up old brickworks. So now we know this one was made at Roughcastle Firebrick Works, Bonnybridge, and would have been a much deeper colour when new.

In other news, having been watching the Concert for Ukraine,  this child of the sixties covets Ed Sheeran's many-coloured shoes.
