Caltha palustris or 'Kingcup'.

When I converted the old koi pond in my back garden into a nature pond I planted two of these gems. One I placed in shallow water and this one into the surrounding bed. This is winning in size and flowers at the moment. I have room to relocate the other which I will do but I'll need to get my wellies on first...
