Surprise!

I was asked to look after some disappointing bulbs for someone on holiday, but they're suddenly sprouted flower spikes and are starting to look lovely. Their owner thought they weren't going to flower at all!

It's lightly snowing outside this evening. Not enough for a decent picture though. I can just about make out a dusting on Arthur's Seat.
