Fun On The Beach

I had a really lovely time on the beach today, celebrating a friend's birthday. There were picnic tables with table cloths, tiered cake stands and quirky teapots - and all manner of scrumptious food - scones with jam and clotted cream, cucumber sandwiches, smoked salmon, cake..... yum! 

The weather was a bit on the dull side but no wind, so no sand sandwiches :)). And most folk (not I!) went in for a dip. Maybe I'll join them in the summer :))

Afterwards I went to look at slabs for a new patio. I'm finding that a new patio will be eye-wateringly expensive :(
