Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

2022 Tuesday -- A Favorite Curve in the Road

After a nourishing breakfast of hot oatmeal and wheat toast, we were in the car (with the pups in the backseat) headed toward a 10:30 appointment in San Luis Obispo for my last laser treatment on my right thumb. After the laster treatment, then a consultation with the doctor and the prospect of "fixing" my right thumb with "shock" treatment. All very interesting.

We did a little bit of "doo-dah-ing" in several thrift stores before we started our exit toward the coast with a last stop at a big brand name grocery store. Then Highway #1 to Morro Bay with a quick top-up of our gas tank and then on to the house to make a late lunch. Then after a couple afternoon hours of nodding and napping, we headed at almost 5:00 to Tidelands Park to walk the pups. We had the park to ourselves; windy and chilly was the verdict, but it didn't matter. We pulled our hoods up and tightened the strings.

We walked till Mitzi was tired, which is not very far. On the way back to the house we made a quick stop at Spencer's Market to get the few things I could not find earlier in the big city (SLO). And then home to pull together a late, but delicious, dinner.

At a glance, the final Tuesday in March on California's Central Coast won an Oscar in the category of "Gorgeous." In my world of academics, I give this day an A+.

From Cayucos on the Coast,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
