Wet and wild

They cancelled the Surfest heats today.  You can see why from the blip taken this morning at Merewether baths.   The seas are being whipped up and there was a strong Southerly which was attempting to blow that red flag off the pole.  It may well have succeeded as the wind seems to be picking up.   We have had a lot of rain today but it is not raining now.  The foam is also back.

A crash on the M1 together with the weather has caused me to delay my trip to Sydney until tomorrow morning. It is still going to be windy but hopefully a better day for the trip than today.
