Wound up in Wexford

Rain

Rain was forecast for today, but we were up and about early enough, and it held off long enough for W to get some of the grass mowed, and the clippings into the brown bin, sue for collection on Thursday.

That will be the last brown bin collection.  It costs £50 a year (from 1st April), is non-refundable if you leave part way through the year, and non-transferrable to the new residents!  So we've decided not to pay for 22/23, but to take any green waste we can't put on the compost to our local tip.

I did a session on the exercise bike, then we had a house viewer, and in the afternoon I played duets with L.  By this time, it was raining quite hard, and COLD.  What happened to that lovely spring weather?  Oh well, at least it will wash the remaining Saharan sand off our windows.

After L had left, I had a wander in the rain with the camera and photographed various drippy plants.  This daff is one of many varieties in pots and in the ground - the names of which are long lost.  I thought it was rather pretty.
