Now, as I see it......

The north wind doth blow

The garden man came back to plant up the front garden this morning, doing a fine job.  Whilst he was here, our friends S&B had a walk into town for a look round.  This afternoon we took them out for a drive along the coast from Morston to Cley, stopping off in a few places for a wander round on the way.  We didn't stop out long though; after a blizzard this morning the sun had come out but there was still a perishing cold wind straight from the north off the sea.  It made for an impressive sea though; this view at the beach at Cley doesn't really show how rough it was.

An interesting effect in the photo.  We'd seen that the sea was visible from places we couldn't normally see it, usually the result of some sort of atmospheric temperature inversion.  I've noticed that the horizon in this shot isn't horizontal but rises up in the middle almost as though it was showing the curvature of the earth,  I can only think it is some sort of weather distortion.
