Getting about

There is a large ex-pat population (including many retirees) living in Didim. Turkish law is that foreign driving licenses are only valid for six months of continual residence. Cars are also prohibitively expensive to buy in Turkey. As the town is really quite flat, the practical, affordable choice for many who only really want to potter about the town is the electric scooter. This (presumably home made canopy) customised three seater was parked outside the dental surgery today when I went (taken by chauffeured four wheeled courtesy vehicle provided by the dental practice). More choices in the extra pic.

Anyway, the dental surgeon declared last Saturday's work is healing as it should, and I now have have a further week in recovery mode until phase 2 next Thursday so I had a relaxed evening that included two celebratory beers now that the antibiotics are finished, an hour's video call with mbfiatw followed by knitting with a movie - Tower Heist (2011) - sufficiently superficially entertaining with actors I like to fit my current and ongoing mood of low level concentration.

So that was March then.
Weather check: no sunshine and cooler than of late,
