Sundial

I like sundials - although of limited use most of the time :-)
This one is on the wall of Baitings Cottages which used to be the "New Inn' at Baitings Reservoir.
The sundial is dated 1764 with the Latitude 53, 45 N.
The inscription "Ab hoc Momento pendet AEternitas" translates as "Eternity is hinged upon this moment"
