Road trip to Manchester

Caitlin is running in the Manchester marathon on Sunday so she and her support team - me, Paddy, and Mr hazelh - travelled south this afternoon. Here we all are in the car, just about to leave Edinburgh.

We had a good journey, with a break at Tebay. I had heard a lot about this 'posh' service station, and it is quite nice, but as Paddy said 'It's not House of Bruar'.

All four of us are staying with the Foxes this weekend. This evening Clarissa cooked us a lovely supper of curried haddock followed by apple and caramel cake. We also played a couple of games: Weird things humans search for and Crabs.

Exercise today: 45 minutes on the exercise bike.
