If you can't beat them...

Drumstick Primrose ( Primula denticulata )

A visit to the Lodge to do the last few jobs ready for the guests.  The previous guests had emptied the bins so no "walk to the bins" challenge today. Instead, I took some shots of the few flowers out in the garden of the Lodge.

This Primula is very aptly named however I grew up knowing it by its scientific name so to me it is always P denticulata.  As you might guess from the species name it has something to do with teeth, small teeth, in fact, i.e. those on the edge of the leaves.

The rest of the day was taken up with getting the caravan ready for its first trip out in two years.  Kat is still recovering from her pneumonia over Christmas and has very little energy.  We are going to help her with some jobs but taking the caravan so that when she gets too tired we can get out of her way.
