Alpine Blood Spot Lichen ( Ophioparma ventosa )

I hope I am remembering this lichen name correctly.  I attended a Lichen course/walk run by In to the Hills (of this parish).  A positively brilliant day.  I am finding as I age I need to go over things a number of times before they are locked in.  Not only did the day remind me of things which were slipping away but taught me much that was new. A great time, in great company and much learned.  Brilliant.

When I arrived home it was a quick turn round and final checks before being back on the M6 heading north to Edinburgh with the caravan.  A nice straightforward run up and we were on the site and sorting things out by 7:00.
