Harriet sent me this photo from Florence. They had climbed 450+ steps to the top of the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore.

I spent most of the day washing and polishing a couple of the cars and made two journeys to the filling station as both of the tanks were virtually empty.

At eighteen minutes to midnight I realised that I was 1200 steps short of my 10,000 daily target. I have hit the target every day for nearly 18 months so I put on my winter coat and headed out into the night with a torch in hand. Mission completed with four minutes to spare.
