Blackthorn Blossom.

As rain was forecast for late afternoon, we opted for a canal walk. The towpath is bordered by lots of small blackthorn trees and they are in full blossom at the moment. 
The promised/threatened rain has now come and with it a rather chilly southerly breeze. 
At least the rain will help wash in the weed n feed I scattered on the grass.
