Alloting

VC came over this morning for coffee and walk - we went down to see the Highland Cows via the Black Spout Woods. It was the first time I'd been in the woods for a while. The wood anemones are beginning to come out. 

I then spent some time this afternoon sorting through the various seed packets we have accumulated and working out what I want sow this year - both directly outdoors and also indoors now that we have a potting shed and greenhouse. 

I want to grow my own pansies for containers this year and will start them off this week. I was also pleased to see for last years notes that I have until mid-May to prepare the side border which  I use for outdoor sowing.
