A long drive to my cousin's near Exeter today, broken up with a visit to WWT Steart Marshes. There weren't many birds around, mallards, a few widgeon, a nesting swan and a heron, but it was probably not a good time of day and it was very windy! I gave up with my binoculars and concentrated on my surroundings, giving my legs a stretch before getting back in the car for the last hour of the journey.
