When the going gets weird

Up The Mountains

Rising wasn't easy today. The Metro journey out towards our destination of Tibi Dabo was tough. I thought I'd have to spew on the train a couple of times. Fortunately the hangover was lifting by the time we started climbing up towards the funicular railway that would take us to the top.

Tibi Dabo is a mountain overlooking Barcelona. At the top there is a small selection of amusement rides (most of which were still closed for the season) and a church, La Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor. The views were amazing. Church was pretty sweet too. I love religious iconography, even though I'm not big on religion.

In the evening we met up with Hazel again at the Plaza George Orwell for some dinner and drinks.
