A time for everything

Mr and Mrs Heron!

Saturday
We got out for a walk at Long Branch Farm and trails about mid morning. It was another dull day, which was a shame for viewing and photographing the herons - they would have stood out clearer in better light and against a blue sky. Oh well, hopefully another day! After our hike, we drove straight to church, as we had an extra choir practice for Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday music. Despite small numbers, we made some progress and enjoyed making music together.
In the evening there was more music, but this time we were on the receiving end at the Music Hall, listening to the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. There was a guest conductor this evening, a Japanese conductor, and a very talented young Chinese pianist playing a Bartok piano concerto. Then the second half was Prokofiev Symphony No 5.
