Wide Wednesday . . . Straight

This is looking straight down a line of graves in the Richmond Cemetery.  I was in the older area and the graves were from the 1890's.  On the right hand side are four graves within an iron fence all with the surname Wilkes.  In the summer I buy strawberries from a stall in Wilkes St and a simple Google search provided a link.  William Wilkes was mayor of Richmond 1917-1923.  He founded a building company that built many of the major buildings in Richmond and at one time built an average of a house a week. However, it all began in a much smaller way – with coffins. In 1890, William Wilkes established an undertaking business at his home.  
Our first overcast day for sometime.  Thanks to Bob for keeping it wide on Wednesdays.
