Tiny Hummer

It may seem like the Hummingbirds are flying all the time quickly, but they sit and rest quite a bit of the time. I have branches placed where I can see them and get a photo when they rest; this little gal was busy scratching and preening for a few minutes on one of my perches.

Little Miss Ellie tried hard to skip her nap today since her Grandpa is encouraging her to stop taking a nap, but she couldn't do it; she curled up with her blanket on the couch and went to sleep at about 5 pm. Needless to say, she didn't get her dinner, bath, and storytime until quite late. Hopefully, that didn't mess with her early morning schedule; we have attempted to keep her on an 8 am morning wake up for school.
