A Butterfly

A mixed bag of weather today - sun, wind, clouds, rain. Got two loads of washing dried outside, one of them twice  - after a sharp shower!

Had a walk after lunch, it poured with rain just after I set out, but I soon dried out in the sun and wind! This small tortoiseshell was struggling in the wind but it settled briefly on the dandelion, long enough for a blip shot!

Another one that looks better in large.
