J. Andrew Garratt

This morning we went to the Bellingham Music Club and heard the winners of the club scholarships for music students at Western Washington university. Because I’m the club photographer, Shelly and I get front row seats. The winners also sit in the front row so we get to meet and talk to some of them. This morning we sat with Andrew, co-winner of second place. He was delightful to talk to, and his singing was wonderful. He’s a junior this year so I expect we’ll see him again. Actually I know we will because his recital is this Friday at 7:30 and we plan to attend. We love going to student concerts. WWU has a great music department and the concerts are free.
