Don't fall off!

Actually Alfie was in no danger of falling off, he was simply relaxing as only a cat can.

I spent most of the day reading, first An Angel at my Table by Janet Frame, and now I've just made a start on Gray Bees by a Ukrainian novelist, Andrey Kurkov. I’ve had to abandon Janet Frame at the end of part two because we won’t be discussing part three in the class I will soon be starting - part of my new life as a retired person. I should be able to fit in the rest of Janet Frame over the summer if not before. It's going to be serious stuff, this retirement!
