Getting the sparkle back

Forth Lines

This is part of an exhibition at the John Hope Gateway in the Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh. The project started out in as a lockdown idea by four local crafters but subsequently grew to nearly 200 crafters taking part, some amateur and others professional. It comprises 184 squares of calico, each representing a specific square kilometres of the north and south coastlines of the Firth of Forth. It's only on until 24th April, but is highly recommended if you can catch it.

JH and I had a lovely day taking in this exhibition, a scone and coffee outside and lots of sunshine and plants.
