Another day…..

Another rose.

The day started with a call from the owner of the lodge we are staying at tomorrow to say the electrical transformer for the lodge had exploded the next day. They hope to have it fixed in time for our arrival but sent me photos of another home on the same game farm we could use as an alternative. Fingers crossed they get it fixed but at least we will have somewhere to stay.

Later a message from Sue, who had been shielding because she had been with her niece who then tested positive, to say she had a fever, headache, and upset tummy so it doesn’t seem she will be joining us after all.

It feels that this trip is a bit fated!
