In memory

The memorial plaque we had made in memory of Rae has finally been finished and erected on one of the posts of our sun bear enclosure. One of Rae's hero's was Jane Goodall, and so we thought this quote of Jane's was a fitting tribute to her memory. For those who don't know, Rae had devoted the rest of her life to working here at VBRC, as a vet nurse, she was committed 100% to the bears and ending bile farming in Vietnam. Sadly her health failed her and she passed away in December of last year, but her memory and all that she did during her time here will never be forgotten.
