April 2nd Saturday Strollers

We were extremely fortunate with the weather for today's 2nd Saturday Strollers walk around Edinburgh - cool, but sunny, for most of the day :-)

We all met at Haymarket Station; made our way along the Water of Leith to the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art (see 1st extra); then down to Dean Village, which features in the main snap; and then out to the Botanic Gardens for our lunch-stop (the 2nd extra shows our approach route) ...

... would highly recommend visiting the Rhododendron exhibition, in Inverleith House, which runs until early June - a wonderfully curated display.

Made our way back to Haymarket, via Inverleith Park, and along a section of the NCN1 ... Edinburgh was looking very fine, indeed.
