Tree of Imagination

Spent most of the day getting ready to move on with a dinner stop in Sale with my old form master from Sale Grammar School and his wife.  With a little time to kill, Leyna wanted to inspect the local Tree of Imagination in Peover (pronunciation already clarified on yesterday's blip).  Each little window had some rather interesting display - left to the imagination in most cases as to what they were - L enjoyed examining and photographing all of them - which may be reflected in her blip.
Had a fine dinner with Dave and Sue preceded by meeting at Sale Sports Club where an unexpected post rugby match celebration was taking place and we gradually surmised that the team was in fact a 'gay rugby team'.  Apparently, though based mostly in Manchester they use the Sale Club as their base for games and after game celebrations - it was very noisy and reminded me of post game socialising I had experienced back when I played rugby for Shell in Holland - ie a lot of beer was being consumed in short order and some of it ended up being poured on the heads of Man of the Match and other players awarded for their contribution to the game.
Dinner was Ox Cheeks in red wine and a delicious duck and celeriac salad.  Left about 8:30 pm to drive to Lincoln and stay once again at Kevin's
