The Big Match

After traveling with LV down from his place to Walsall to pick up his classic Italian car that had undergone some undercarriage surgery, we headed to Sutton for a lovely lunch at the Kitchen and Brewhouse with Bryn, Paul and Beth.  This was the social pre-game lunch before we were to head over to Paul's (et al) to watch Man City (Bryn's team), take on Liverpool, LV and my team.  Paul, a neutral and strongly praying for a draw and Bryn who actually predicted a 2 - 2 draw in the pub were certainly please with the outcome from that perspective.  Actually, I think we were all happy to be united in  celebrating probably the 2 best football teams in the world at the moment playing an exciting end to end game that neither side could finish off.  Jurgen Klopp, the Liverpool manager likened it to a heavyweight fight where neither side could land the KO punch.  That is probably a fair comment.  Here, the 2 brothers intently stare at the unfolding drama, whilst L, who had been out for a walk with B showed her low level of interest in proceedings after returning!  It was then off to Kingsford Water Gardens where we were staying the night before moving on in the morning.
