It's A Gift!

I said on my blip on Tuesday that we'd met up with Kaybee and he'd given me a couple of gifts. This is one of them. He'd managed to rescue it from this disaster! It is repaired perfectly. He turned it from wet wood so it will evolve a shape of its own as it dries out. Thank you, again, Kaybee.

Today is a usual Saturday in that we have the holiday lodge cleaning to do but different in that it is our Wedding Anniversary. 45 Years, would you believe. 

I like to make a bit of an effort over a meal and duck is The Man's favourite. I have absolutely no confidence in cooking a duck but I have discovered that Sainsbury's sells Bressingham duck breasts in a plum sauce that simply goes in the oven for 40 minutes. Easy success!
