Life through the lens...

Sunday morning walk

A very pleasant walk this morning as there wasn’t that cold wind which we have had for the last few days.
Walk to the pond. Plenty of spring flowers now in bloom. A few mallards, and the two Canada geese are still there but no sign of a nest.
However the moorhens have set up home in one of the bird houses.

It was nice to see the tiny hooped petticoat daffodils flowering again in the grass.
Also the gorse is looking it’s best now.

So a collage of the pond, daffodils, gorse and the moorhen.

The rest of the day has been spent in the garden. Moving pots about, and trying to sort things. Seem to have got nowhere fast.
However I did have some wonderful bird song to listen to while working.
Blackbirds, robin, Jenny wren, starlings, chaffinches, dunnock, and of course the collard doves.

Now feeling tired, but looking forward to watching Gentleman Jack tonight.
