View from Lantern Pike .

We pass this way regularly but today we stopped and took a walk up to the view point at Lantern Pike near Hayfield. The route up really stretched our legs , it was good to climb enough to huff and puff !
It was a stop off point on our way home from a very pleasant weekend which included a day out to Bakewell with our son and his little family. Florence us such fun to be with , she even had a little nap in our van with her mummy whilst we browsed around Bakewell with our son , we waited fir them to join us before having ice cream though!
Fridays delight was a stop off and walk at Eyam .
We spent two nights on a very pleasant campsite in Old Brompton and slept incredibly well , hardly any snoring !!!
