Crummock Water, with Rannerdale & Haystacks

The day started pouring with rain, and despite the weather forecast, I was a little unsure about the prospects in the north Lakes, but we went over to Crummock water and visited Lanthwaite woods, within 10 minutes the rain stopped and by lunchtime, even the Sun was threatening to come out.

The wind, however showed no signs of abating throughout the day, and at the edge of the lake, standing up, let alone photographing, was a major effort.

Ended the afternoon happy, but with sore eyes from windburn!

Good news today, finally got confirmation that my Yosemite workshop next February is confirmed - provided we get enough bookings. Great news - can't wait!
