Sunday

Another cold day. Sunny but cold.

The only thing of any great interest to the journal is that we took mum a wee run to Glendoick garden centre. We firstly had a cuppa and traybake and they are now doing table service instead of the usual practice. Which means paying as you leave which is posing a problem to some of the oldies as the waitress explained to me it’s been so long pay as you receive the food that many folks are leaving after they finished and then calling up the next day when they realise what they’ve done. The folks at our table before us hadn’t paid as it was still in the waitresses tablet as not paid!

Mum bought us a white lavatera for down the bottom of the garden. I have a spot for it in The area where the pigeon factory used to be. So much space where that awful tall Leylandi type thing was.

This anemone was on its last legs in September last year been eaten by some nasty bug so I sprayed it and planted the roots and lo and behold it’s in full flower although here the petals are shutting up shop for the night.
