Goteira

I collected my mouthguard, referred to as a goteira by the dentist. This seems to translate as ‘drip’ or ‘gutter’ in English, both of which invoke images of ‘saliva management’. Let’s hope it assists with the jaw pain, which rumbles on unabated. I need to go on an anti-stress crusade, which is the underlying cause of tensing my jaw too much, which I’ve only just realised I’ve been doing.
