A Tulip

One of just two that grow in our garden every year! I nipped out during a brief lull in the rain to get this shot…a dark grey card was put behind the flower - and a tweak on the blacks and shadows sliders in Lightroom has turned it almost black.

We did have a brief visit to the garden from a great spotted woodpecker this morning…having a feast on the peanuts. Granddaughter was quite thrilled to see it - but it didn’t stay long enough for a photo!

Spent all morning at York Designer Outlet…it was at least dry inside…
