A walk to Monks Farm

Today I did a long walk with my friend. The photos I’m sharing with you are my favourite from the walk. We came face to face with a Roe deer it didn’t seem to know which way to go. It’s sad to see the animals are running out of places to go where there’s no human activity. Once the old airfield stood abandoned and was full of trees, and wildlife. Now as the countryside begins to be full of houses, roads and industrial sites so the wild life have to find somewhere else.
The bridle path we followed must have once been part of an ancient woodland as it was edged with dog violets, primroses and bluebells.
