Lambs!

We were down in the Borders today and finally got my blip of lambs, just in time for Easter. The first time we stopped the ewes were being ultra-careful of strangers and, even though at some distance, gathered their children and moved quietly away, so we drove on.

This Mama was quite sure of herself and stood her ground, probably more experienced and familiar with gawping humans, she posed so nicely and I just had to wait for the lambs to face the camera.

Maundy Thursday service was followed by a rigorous rehearsal for a difficult piece we are to sing tomorrow, so I'll leave comments until later.
