BACKBLIP 1 - uploaded Friday 15th 


Today we took a remarkable journey through WW1 and WW2 aviation at the above Heritage Centre. It also includes Sir Peter Jackson’s (of the Lord of the Rings fame) own amazing collection of aviation items collected from around the world. And as you can see from the included photos, life-like mannequins were created by Weta Workshop.

Everything from presentation and restoration was truely world class. We spent several hours discovering aviation history - and that time disappeared in a flash!

The last extra is autumn colour amongst Marlborough vineyards.
