Church In Blossom

Today my brother managed to finish work a day early for the Easter bank holiday. So after I picked him up from the station we went to The King & Queen (or the King and Kven as we always call it) for a celebratory pint. We even managed to sit outside in the pub garden for the first time this year.
When we came out of the pub the early evening light was glorious. Today's image was taken just across the road from the pub and I've gone for an 'impressionistic' shot taken through a blossoming cherry tree towards the outline of the church tower of St James The Great.

So Bojo and Rishi Sunak have been fined by the Metropolitan Police for attending an illegal lockdown party and yet refuse to resign despite breaking the law and the ministerial code. As usual Bojo gave his non apology: "It did not occur to me that this might have been a breach of the rules". He is taking the whole country for idiots! Especially people who who were unable to visit their sick and dying relatives or even attend their funerals. Shame on you Boris Johnson.
The headline in an article in the i newspaper (Another View by Ian Dunt) summed it perfectly and succinctly: "He set the law. He broke it. He must go, or our political system will be broken".
