Wound up in Wexford

Bluebell

Our local bluebell woods at High Ash Farm are opening to the public over the weekend of 30th April to 2nd May - we won't be here, we'll be in Sweden.  But some of the bluebells in our garden are already blooming - so today you get one of those.

I spent another couple of hours weeding, and thought I'd now done the whole garden, which is certainly looking better for what I have done - only to realise as I walked back to the house after putting away my tools that I had forgotten one small bed.  Oh well - that's a job for tomorrow.

W spent time moving sheet wood from his workshop to the garage - we have visions of it pouring with rain or blowing a hoolie when the removal firm are here (whenever that might be!!!!), and them trying to bring stuff up from the workshop at the bottom of the garden, so he felt that he should take advantage of the fine weather to move the larger pieces of sheet wood.

After having poached eggs for breakfast, and then hot cross buns for a rather late lunch, we opted for a large salad for dinner, and in the "use up the contents of the drinks cabinet" lottery, we've now progressed to drinking some Pommeau (an apple aperitif) that is at least 10 years old.
